At preschool, my kids got to bake a big gingerbread guy. While he cooled, they listened to the story of the gingerbread man. When they went to check to see if he was ready to eat, he had run off and left clues for the kids to find him. They love, love, loved that activity. So I took it upon myself to re-inact the whole experience. To my surprise, they thoroughly enjoyed it and it occupied our rainy afternoon!

Catch Up: New Years
This is the first year that we celebrated New Years with the kids. We bought sparkling cider and sparklers and even some fireworks. It was a great night! The kids enjoyed every minute of the evening. They were mostly enthralled with the fireworks and sparklers and would have sat outside all night and played!
Ok, I will admit it. I had a bit of fun too!!

Catching Up: Christmas 2010
We had a great time this year for Christmas. The kids were really into "Santa" and it was fun watching them get excited for him to arrive. We took the kids to see santa. Logan refused to see him, Quinton was ok because he got a candycane and Harley just wasn't too sure. Here are a few pictures from Christmas.
What I love about my kiddos:
1. They LOVE taking pictures. When the camera comes on, they are ready to pose and snap pictures. I love their goofiness. I have to get the "staged" pictures out of the way and then it's party time!
2. I love that they love each other!
3. I love that it doesn't take much to turn that frown upside down.
4. I love that they are protective of protect each other.
5. I love that they are starting to have a greater interest in church and the stories in the scriptures!
6. I love seeing the excitement on Logan's and Quinton's faces when they tell me the stories of Jesus they learn each Sunday
True Conversation:
Logan: Mom, do you know who Satan is?
Me: Yes! He's my best friend....
Logan: No! MOM! He wanted to be the Jesus and come to earth nad be bad and make us steal food.
Me: hmmm. Almost.
Quinton: When bad Jesus comes, Im gonna kick him in the head.
Me: What?!? *chuckling*
Quinton: Satan is the bad Jesus and Im gonna kick him in the head.
Me: *no response* haha
7. I love that my children love to spend time with their extended family and ask to visit them often.
8. I love that they still love to snuggle.
9. I love that they love Me!!
