I cannot believe it!

It was three years ago today that I gave birth to Logan! Wow, it seems sooooo long ago and yet like yesterday. Logan was a very strong willed person even in the womb. He came when he decided it was his time. The last 2-3 hour of labor, Logan's head was also cocked at a weird angle which kept him from being delivered. We were approaching 24 hrs after my water had broke, when the dr came in and checked me and still no change. He then said, if this baby doesn't shift and I don't think he will, you will be prepped for surgery in 20 minutes when I come back. So, the doctor leaves and within a few minutes of his return, Logan turned his head and slid right down into the birth canal and was ready to come into the world. I reflect back on that moment and realize that Logan likes to do things his own way. He is pretty strong willed. Logan loves to play with Quinton, cousins and friends. He can be demanding and bossy at times, but on the other hand, Logan is gentle and loving. He loves to cuddle and get kisses.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!!! MOMMY and DADDY love you dearly!

Date Night with My Man Q...

What do you do in the spring time when everyone is gone? Do you sip lemonade and let the kids play or go to Applebees and Cold Stone for the Night? Is that what you do, well so did I. (to the tune of "what do you do in the summertime")

Okay, if you didn't grow up in the LDS church, you probably don't get the humor of the whole first part of my post...but I thought it was clever. :)

Saturday, I sent Logan to Tucson with his Granny and Papa for Tama's birthday party. Ben had to work, so it was just Quinton and I at home chillin'. I was totally bored out of my mind. I had already finished the yard work I had wanted to accomplish and was still bored. My friend Katy called to see if I wanted to get together for a girls night out. I said sure, I will have Quinton with me...she kind of hesitated and I assured her it wouldn't be a problem. So we got together and went to Applebees and then to Cold Stone for Dessert. It was an early night for us girls, but I think we had a great time too! Quinton's highlight of the evening was the ice cream at Cold Stone - needless to say, he ate most of mine. :D It was good to be able to hang with the girls and have some alone time with my little man Q too! Here are a couple pictures of Q and I right before we headed out the door for our dinner.

A Fun Friday with the Dexters!

Well this weekend we were able to have our friends over - Malyn, Coy and Austin. We had so much fun! We went to the Phoenix Zoo and had a great time. It was pretty hard trying to get 4 little boys to hold still and look the same direction at the same time for a picture.

WOO, we did it though.

Then it was back to our house for some lunch. The boys played and played and had a pretty good time. The only down side, Logan was having a hard time sharing. Other than that, we had a blast! They stayed for dinner and then headed home to McGuireville (not cornville like I previously stated in another post).

Thanks for coming down! Now it's our turn to head your direction!

It is always fun when cousins come!

Shirlene and her 6 kids came over for Spring Break. We went to Freestone park and fed the ducks. We got to go to the Aloha Festival and watch the Polynesian Dancers perform. We didn't do much, but the kids had a good time hanging out together. It is always fun to have cousins come and play. My boys really love them!

Mom and Dad are back from Mexico!

We went down to Pima the last weekend in March to Welcom my parents home from their mission. They were on a 23 month mission in Mexico. Logan, Quinton and I went down on Thursday to hang out and have a little mini vacation. We stayed in Uncle Allen's RV this time. Logan liked "camping". I think he will have a rude awakening when he realizes that camping isn't always going to be in a RV. haha. I guess we will deal with that when it comes up.

That weekend, we rode Allen's Quad and had a blast doing it. We also visited with Missy and her kids at the Thatcher Park. Had a big bbq dinner for Mom and Dad on Saturday when they got home. They were on a mission to get home -- they busted out 30 hours of driving in less than 48 hours time. I think they were motivated to get home in the USA! :) They met Quinton for the first time that weekend and also two of his cousins. There is still one great-grand baby that they haven't met yet, I am sure they will pretty soon! It was fun being down in Pima and good to see that my parents made it home safely.

Valentine's Day Weekend in Pima

We headed down to Pima the weekend of Valentines. Ben was working 5 days straight and I didn't want to be stuck at home. So Logan, Quinton and I headed down for a fun weekend.

the kids were able to ride a horse - my boys didnt really want anything to do with it at all, I had to bribe Logan with candy to even get him to sit on the horse. Entertaining for everyone watching, a little stressful for mommy. Thankfully we both survived.

When ever we go to the farm, we always have to visit the cows on the dairy. Logan and Quinton didn't like when the cows were up close, but kept trying to climb in with them when they walked away.

We helped Shirlene, Allen, Matt and Nate fix the pump and the pvp pipes so that they didn't have to haul water to the horses in the back of the truck anymore. It ended up being a working weekend, but was nice to be with family!!

We stayed at aunt Julie's house in Safford. Thanks Julie for letting us stay, it was fun!

Trip to Sedona (Cornville) the end of January.

Logan - 2.5yrs

Quinton - 18mos

Coy - 5yrs

Austin - 4yrs

Logan, Quinton and I went on a little day trip to Sedona to hang out with Malyn, Coy and Austin. We spent the day with them and had dinner and just let the boys run wild. I was taken back when Coy asked us to stay for 4 days and was actually crying real tears during it all. It just broke my heart to have to tell him no. Good times were had by all. Malyn and I were able to kick back and catch up. All 4 boys got along very well! Hopefully we will be able to hang out together really soon!
