Helping mommy with yard work....
Well, it has been fun trying to find time to do the yard work with two little active boys. I thought I was staying on top of them, only to find them in the mud. I watched it all unfold. Logan was the instigator, he first started splashing in the water run-off from the AC. Soon after, Quinton decided it was great fun! From the picture, you wouldn't think that Logan instigated the whole thing. It is almost like he was really upset that Quinton has gotten him dirty. Quinton enjoyed the mud way too much, his face doesn't show it, but the rest of him sure does. I just gotta love my boys!

It's been way too long...
Okay...so to catch you all up on our life.
I have gone to variable status at MDS, I fill in here and there when they need me. Ben is working more hours at work for me to be able to be home more and to keep the boys out of daycare.
Logan is 2 and is very active. He has some fascination or just a crazy imagination. He has started this whole thing about a "snake in the woods" and "it's dark, i'm scared" It is really cute, but I can't actually tell if he just thinks he should be scared because it's dark or if he is actually scared. He loves playing outside and looking for airplanes. When he hears an airplane, he cups his ear with his hand and says "shhh, listen. what's that noise? it's an airplane!" Then he puts his arm out and says "wait airplane, wait." When it keeps going he waves to it and says "bye airplane, see ya later, airplane" and repeats that ritual in a few minutes when another one comes by. Logan loves to play with his cousins...they are all older than him, but does a great job of keeping up with their pace. Logan also loves his little friends in the ward JoJo, Deacon and Liza. We have a playdate atleast once a week with them. It is a lot of fun. On the days that he doesn't see his friends, he plays on the phone and tells me to say hi to each of them. When we get through each of their names, he says okay say bye mommy. It is really cute. Anytime we get into the car he starts rambling off each of their names and asks if we are going to the park. When I say no, he then asks if we are going to the store. He loves shopping and riding in the carts. Logan has also finally learned the phrase "I love you". It is so cute and melts my heart everytime he says it.
Quinton...wow he is already 1!! Time just flies by. Quinton is a really happy child. He loves to follow Logan and mimick everything his big brother does. Quinton is walking...he can stand up in the middle of the floor and keep going. Right now it is entertaining to watch him try to get on a chair. He watches Logan walk over and put his foot on the rung and climb up. So Quinton toddles over and grabs the chair and tries and tries and tries to get his foot up on the rung of the chair. Then he gets frustrated and screams at it...then is right back at it. He also is trying to climb onto the couch by himself...that is also entertaining. You can get him to smile at the drop of a hat....no matter if he just fell down and is bawling, he will forget about it and start giggling. I love his laugh. It is just so contagious.
My boys are perfect. They make me laugh and I am greatful for the opportunity I have to be home to watch them grow and develop into the little people that they are.
